Five years ago, I had the opportunity of serving along side one crazy and yet incredibly amazing brother in Christ, Sammy Adebiyi. Sammy has an amazing testimony of how God brought him from his homeland of Nigeria all the way to Toledo, Ohio to going on a tour with the band, "Sanctus Real."
As Sammy has been traveling with the band, he has been getting the opportunity to challenge our generation to go deeper and think BIG. "Do you believe our generation could change the world?" he asks. "A child will die every three seconds in Africa because they do not have access to clean water!" I can't even fathom that.
He has partnered with a ministry called "Mocha Club" which connects communities here in the U.S. with communities in Africa that have been plagued with issues of poverty, famine and disease. For $7 or the price of 2 mochas, we can provide food, water, education and hope to these people. I had no idea he was doing this! This is WAY cool. Looks like he is coming our way for a concert next month so CHase and I may try and go.
