A year and a half ago, our church decided to send a survey team to Tanzania, East Africa with the hopes of finding a people group that had been unreached with the Gospel, that is had never before heard the name of Jesus or message of salvation. Robert was part of that team and after returning from that trip, he had a desire to one day return along with myself to be a part of a missionary team. The vision spread throughout not only our church body but the rest of the churches within our denomination. It was incredible as more and more people decided to pray, give and in some cases even go. This past Sunday, three members from our church were commissioned to head to Tanzania where they will spend the next several years as missionaries. Praise God for people who hear the call of God and obediently deny themselves and follow! Be praying for these three individuals and the things God is going to accomplish in and through them.
While Robert and I had hoped to be a part of one of these missionary teams, we have been delayed due to his deployment. We are still taking steps towards this direction although we continue to be sensitive to the Lord's will and calling for our lives.
