All For A Cookie...

A little over a year ago, Robert and I decided to have dinner at a cute, little tea shop in our area called Sweet Memories. It took a lot of coaxing to get him to even step foot in a place that was "super girly." But after reassuring him he'd survive the experience, we went. It turned out to be love at first bite and once Rob got a taste of their incredible desserts he just couldn't get enough. To this day it has remained one of Robert's favorite places to go. He's even been known to have taken several of his guy friends there. He's gone so much so that the people there know him and exactly what he always orders...peanut butter white chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin with cranberries or chocolate chip cookies.

With that all said, when I asked Robert what he wanted for his birthday this year, he didn't hesitate in mentioning that he wanted cookies from none other than Sweet Memories. This proved to be no easy feat and I immediately began trying to figure out how it was all going to work out. The ladies at the bakery were super helpful and immediately knew Robert and his love for the cookie. I heard story after story of how Robert would often ride his bike to the shop to buy cookies and it was then that I realized that I was married to "cookie monster."

With the cookies ordered, I faced yet another dilemna....If you've ever seen the size of a USPS flate rate shipping box, you'd know space is quite limited. Everything must fit perfectly inside without causing the box to lose shape and buldge. Never the less, two dozen cookies were going to get mailed! After several phone calls to Sweet Memories and lots of packing tape, the package has been shipped and is due to arrive this week.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ROBERT!
