A Little Info...

Many people have asked what role Robert will be playing while he is deployed so I thought I would briefly share about his role as a Chaplain Assistant.

Aside from basic responsibilities, he will have the opportunity of performing religious support duties for Unit Ministry Team (UMT) programs, worship services and crisis intervention.
Assists soldiers in developing moral values and resolving conflict. Supports the combat stress control team. Organizes religious retreats. Trains family support group leaders. Assists families in spiritual renewal upon reintegration.

**When you look at the above insignia what do you see? The hands represent religious support provided to the chapel and to religious programs, while the chapel's door which appear open symbolizes a welcome to all worshipers.

Lauren!!! That is so neat about Rob's role while serving in the Army. You must feel truly honored to be married to man who God has called to serve in dual capacities and who is already making an impact for Christ. We'll continue to pray for opportunities for him to share with his fellow soldiers. Also James and I are even more excited that he is coming home!!! YAY!!!! That is so wonderful, I'll be praying for you time together. How long will he be home for? Please keep us posted. I can sympathize with the nomad syndrome. What a great gift Rob's family bought you two!!! Just remember to make the most of it no matter where you end up for the night! Oh Lauren I love you and will continue to be praying for you! p.s. how's work and everything for you?
