After completeing our stay at the beautiful Millstream Farm in Lebanon, PA, Robert and I packed up our suitcases, loaded them in the car and have now begun week #2 of our "Pre Deployment Nomadic Journey." As you may remember, back in May we ended our apartment lease and have since then spent the past few weeks travelling around from place to place until Robert deploys. While we have no actual home of our own, I'm continually reminded by Robert that we've been blessed to in fact have several homes. And he's right! So many of our family and friends have given us the invitation. Thank you so much to those who have helped us out during this crazy time of transition and to those who have simply asked us "how are you doing."
This week brings us to the home of my parents. It's always an adventure living with them and there's no telling what off the wall ideas they'll come up with next. For those of you who know my mom and dad, you're well aware that they never do anything small...everything's a production. And now that their daughter and son-in-law are back in the house, there have been no exceptions. One thing's for sure, we definitely won't starve. They have stocked the house with enough food to feed an army and the freezer is packed with ice cream (my personal favorite).
