Perhaps this begins the journey of what will most-likely be one the craziest adventures in stepping out in faith and trusting God to lead the way. I begin this blog not only as a means for others to view, but as a personal testiment of the amazing Savior both Robert and I have chosen to follow.
As many of you know, these past few months have been a rollercoaster ride for both of us as we prepare for Robert's first deployment with the army. It all came as a surprise, not shocking, but something you always think about in the back of your mind. Many of our missionary plans have come to a hault and we find ourselves packing up our lives and moving...many of our wedding gifts remain still new and unopened. I'm finding myself these days in a rush to learn all I can about being an army wife. There's procedures to follow, papers to fill out, gear to buy, people to call, id's to get....and at the end of the day I plop down in exhaustion. Learning the "army language" is a feat in itself. The abreviations for some things is ridiculous! But, I wouldn't have it any other way. This was the commitment I vowed to on our wedding day and I couldn't be prouder to be a help-mate in all of this.
"The Lord will fight for you, you need only be still." Isaiah 14:14
